On October 30, 2023, President Biden issued Executive Order 14110, aiming to ensure the responsible and safe development and use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in federal hiring. In compliance, the US Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has released guidance for federal contractors to prevent discrimination in artificial intelligence-driven hiring practices. 

Yesterday, with broad bipartisan support, the U.S. House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly (352-65) to support the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act, designed to begin the process of banning TikTok’s use in the United States. The Act would penalize

On April 12, 2023, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) released a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (Proposed Rule) that seeks to enhance safeguards of reproductive health care information through changes to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy Rule. The proposal is intended to align with President Biden’s Executive Order
