There are so many data breaches in the news these days that it is hard even for us to keep up, and this is our day-to-day profession.
There were several recent data breaches that didn’t make headlines, but are important to note if you are a customer.
Restaurant chain Buca di Beppo confirmed that it has remediated a 10-month breach of its payment card systems, including some locations of its other brands, Earl of Sandwich and Planet Hollywood. Visit those websites if you are a customer of any of those brands. A class action lawsuit has been filed against them in the last few days.
Arizona Beverages, one of the largest beverage companies in the U.S., has announced that it is recovering from a malware attack in March that shut down sales for days due to the fact that over 200 servers were locked down by ransomware. At the present time, there is no indication that a data breach occurred, but keep an eye out once the forensic analysis is complete.
